In November 2017, the Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union. A Civil Society Platform will be created by virtue of Article 366 of the Agreement, which will serve as a platform for meetings and exchange of opinions and will be composed of representatives of the European Union’s civil society, including members of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), and the representatives of civil society organizations, networks and platforms of the Republic of Armenia.
The Constructive Dialogue Network of Armenian CSOs announces that it has decided to actively participate and be involved in the Civil Society Platform to be created in the framework of CEPA, to support the Armenian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, committing itself to providing expert assistance in developing/improving public policies in individual areas of CEPA, aimed at implementation of their public monitoring and evaluation.
