On 19 March, the 4th awareness seminar aimed at developing the budget capacities of CSOs) and Mass Media was held within the framework of the “Budgets 4 Citizens” Project was held in online format at the Central Office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
At the beginning of the seminar, Program Assistant Ms Anahit Mardoyan, representative of the ALA, and Project Expert on Budget Issues Ms Lilit Hakobyan, representative of the “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC) NGO, welcomed the participants of the seminar.
At the beginning of the online seminar, Anahit Mardoyan presented to the participants the Project, target areas, the works implemented and planned within its framework, the expected results, and also introduced the newly created budgets.am budget knowledge exchange platform.
Then the participants got acquainted with the educational program aimed at developing the skills of CSOs and Mass Media planned within the framework of the Project.
Lilit Hakobyan, representative of the “Economic Development and Research Center”, presented to the participants the budgetary component of the training program and the skills and abilities to be acquired as a result of training.
After that the participants asked a number of questions, in particular about the terms of the training, the procedure of applying, the stages and their effectiveness.

The “Budgets 4 Citizens” (B4C) action (8 December, 2022 – 7 December, 2026) is being implemented with the financial support of the European Union by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, in cooperation with partners “Economic Development and Research Center” (EDRC) NGO and “Agora Central Europe” NGO (Czech Republic).
