The Representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association of was elected a Member of the EU-Armenia CEPA Civil Society Platform
On 5 June, 2024, the selection tender for membership of the Civil Society Platform of the EU-Armenia “Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement” was held. 9 organizations applied for participation.
According to the voting results, from the representatives of the 8 organizations that received the highest total points, the representatives of 4 organizations who received the maximum points are included in the Civil Society Platform (as core members), the remaining 4 are considered to be substitute members.
Thus, according to the voting results, the core members who received the most points were elected:
Suzanna Soghomonyan, “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO, 446 points,
Lusine Hakobyan, “Europe in Law Association” NGO, 376 points,
Hovsep Khurshudyan, “Free Citizen Civic Initiatives Center” NGO, 356 points,
Hasmik Harutyunyan, “Protection of Rights without Borders” NGO, 315 points.
According to the results of the voting, the substitute members who received the most points were elected:
Daniel Ioannisyan, “Union of Informed Citizens” Consulting NGO, 263 points,
Naira Sultanyan, “Democracy Development Foundation” Foundation, 249 points,
Vardine Grigoryan, “Helsinki Citizens Assembly-Vanadzor” NGO, 226 points,
Grigor Yeritsyan, “Armenian Progressive Youth” NGO, 225 points.
The Armenian Lawyers’ Association congratulates the newly elected members of the Civil Society Platform of the EU-Armenia “Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement” (CEPA) and wishes them all the best in this most important stage of the development of relations between Armenia and the EU.
