The 15th Non-Governmental Organization from Yerevan re-registered its new charter in the State Register of Legal Entities. It should be noted that after the adoption of the new law “On Non-Governmental Organizations,” almost all NGOs should review their statutes and comply it with the new law. The charter of the “International Academy of Culture and Music” NGO was revised with the help of Lawyer Armine Chakhalyan, and then it was registered in the State Register of Legal Entities. “First, I registered and participated in the trainings organized for NGOs by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association. Further, the charter of one of our NGOs was re-registered with the help of the lawyer in the State Register. The revised charter of the other NGO is in registration phase,” Ms Nvard Hovakimyan, President of the “International Academy of Culture and Music” NGO said. It should be noted that training on the new law and free legal aid to NGOs are provided within the framework of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project.
