A meeting-discussion of member organizations of the National Platform for Disabled Persons was held on 21 May within the framework of the “ALDM* Public Funds for the Protection of Children’s Rights”, sub-grant project implemented by Astghatsolk NGO in the scope of the EU-funded “Commitment Constructive Dialogue” project.
The discussion took place at the office of “Full Life” NGO, a member of the National Platform for Persons with Disabilities.
The report on monitoring report of expenditures of regional budgets of 3 target marzes: Gegharkunik, Tavush and Lori and 6 urban community budgets directed to social support and protection of children with disabilities conducted in the framework of the project was presented to three marz administrations, and as a result of the discussions it was decided to sign memorandums of cooperation, to provide more effective solutions to the issues raised, the development of the child protection system in Armenia, including the defending children in difficult life situations, to promote development and advancement of child oriented sustainable community and care models.
