Commitment to Constructive Dialogue

Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between “Territorial Center for Human Capital Development” NGO and Byureghavan municipality

Visits to already studied communities are organised in the framework of the “Study of Efficiency in Communities of Ani, Akhuryan and Marmarashen of Shirak marz, Aparan and Tsakhkashen of Aragatsotn marz,  Yeghvard, Akunq, Jrvezh of Kotayk marz, Shoghakat of Gegharkunik marz, Areni, Gladzor of Vayots Dzor marz, Sisian of Syunik marz, Alaverdi, Stepanavan, Metsavan, Tashir, Odzun of Lori marz that were enlarged by the third phase of the administrative-territorial reforms” implemented by the “Territorial Centre for Human Capital Development” NGO in the scope of the EU funded  “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project. During the visits, the current results of the effectiveness of the consolidated models used in the third phase of community consolidation are presented. The recommendations and considerations based on the experience of the enlarged communities are being collected for the further analysis.

The issues and risks identified during the studies are presented to the attention of communities. Recommendations for their improment are presented as well.

On 5 June, a regular meeting took place at the municipality of Byureghavan community of Kotayk Marz, with the participation of the Mayor of Byureghavan community Mr. Hakob Balasanyan, representatives of the community administration, and members of the Council of Elders.

During the presentation of the results by the expert, the head of the community noted that there are peculiarities in the communities and it is not so easy to provide the same indicators for everyone. However, the expert noted that indicators that were common to everyone had been selected and in case when some information was missing in the website, they were obtained through surveys.

The meeting was held with thorough discussions, voiced opinions and considerations that will be taken into account when developing project proposals.

At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed Territorial Centre for Human Capital Development” NGO and Byureghavan Municipality.
