The Project “Corruption Risks in the Legal Practice of Arresting the Persons and Problems for the Improvement of the Legal Obstacles” was summed up

On 29 June, the final presentation of the Public Policy Monitoring and Implementation Project “Corruption Risks in the Legal Practice of Arresting the Persons and Problems for the Improvement of the Legal Obstacles” was held by the “Center of Social Technologies” NGO, within the framework of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project.

CSO representatives, Mr. Makar Kirakosyan representative of the Board of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Staff of Judicial Department, Mr. Marat Hakobyan representing the RA Prosecutor General’s Office, Mr. Armen Khachatryan, MP from “My Step” faction and representatives from other organizations attended the presentation.

Mr. Gegham Grigoryan, President of the “Center of Social Technologies” NGO, made a welcoming speech at the opening of the presentation. Mr. Marat Atovmyan, from the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, representing the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” project held a welcoming speech as well.

Gegham Grigoryan briefly presented the work done. Mr Vrezh Gasparyan, the expert of the project spoke about the project objectives. Ms Anahit Harutyunyan, representative of “Ditaket” Company briefly presented the work they had done. Mr. Grigor Semerjyan, Director of “G Design” LLC, presented the work they had carried out at the “socialalarmenia.org” website. He made the presentation via Skype as he was out of the republic.
