The Basics of the Social Case Management in the Republic of Armenia

The Study of the Basics of the Social Case Management was carried out by the “Community Mobilisation and Support Centre” NGO within the framework of the “Multi-Stakeholder Social Protection” Sub Project implemented in the scope of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project.

The study is aimed to improve social services and public policy in this direction, with particular attention to enhancing the efficiency of the case management process.

This study was conducted in Alaverdi, Hrazdan, Sevan, and Dilijan cities. The study was conducted among beneficiaries, the staff of RSSO, LSGs, supporting networks, CSOs. Study data was collected through surveys, focus group discussions, interviews, and assessment of capacities. The main basis of the study is the RA Law on Social Assistance, which was adopted on 17 December, 2014. The study revealed the level of awareness of the beneficiaries on social policy and on social services operating in the communities, as well as assessed the effectiveness of social services, the capacity, activity, and cooperation of the relevant structures implementing those services.
